FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CARMEL, IN - January 26, 2009. “The Social Media Bible,” co-author Lon Safko announced today he has selected MediaSauce as their long-term strategic partner. “The Social Media Bible,” published by John Wiley and Sons, will be the definitive guide for social media strategies, tactics and technologies integration for business executives.
In the partnership, MediaSauce will contribute to technical edits of the book, help architect a strategy to market the book on the Internet and be responsible for launching a new web site that will serve as the future authority on social media and the integration into businesses of all industries.
The Social Media Bible looked for nearly a year to identify a company with the right strengths and culture to partner with. The meeting was fortuitous, starting with an email from MediaSauce’s VP of Development and Strategy, James Burnes, prompted by a forum discussion on the social media and networking site LinkedIN.com.
“We looked long and hard to find a company who understood how social media is transforming the digital space – and it’s proof that social media can generate business,” said Safko. “MediaSauce is one of the few companies in the country who can truly articulate social media’s impact on corporations. Their digital blueprint methodology showcased to us, that they truly understand how the Internet and social media can positively transform an organization to pull off big things.”
The partnership begins immediately. MediaSauce will be drafting the Digital Blueprint (online business plan), for The Social Media Bible and begin developing the new site shortly thereafter in time for the book’s April 21, 2009 release at stores like Barnes and Noble, Borders, and Amazon.com
“The book will be a key reference book for CEOs and strategic leaders who are looking to transform their organization for the Digital Age,” says MediaSauce President David Cain. ”We couldn’t be more suited to contribute to this project, the very nature of which is in our blood.”
Burnes added, “We’re excited to be taking on this exclusive, high-profile project. We’re pleased to be recognized by this partnership as a thought leader at the national level in the Internet and business community.”
Excerpts of the book, a pod cast interview with Cain and Burnes and much more is available on the book’s current information site, www.thesocialmediabible.com.
