Right on.  I think it's also is akin to scarcity mentality vs. abundance mentality.  Years ago (pre web) information was very power and what someone knew was to be used to their personal advantage.  Well guess what, now knowledge is commoditized (it's free, everywhere and anyone has access to it).  Value now is created when people help them convert knowledge to something of even greater value.</description>
